Collin
She’s abit upset tonite bcos Chris didn’t call her. Or was he waiting for Her to call him??
Anyway, She’s got things under control. Not like it’s the first time She experienced this kinda situation. She’s been thru worse. Yeah…She’s been thru worse when it was with Collin, nearly 5-6 years ago.
Strangely, today She was on the line with Collin and he said something to Her. He said that he’s happy that both of them are now on talking terms and enjoying the friendship.
You see, 9 years ago, when She first started working, She fell deep in love with Collin. He’s funny. He’s smart. He always always make Her laugh. They were working quite closely at that time. She learnt a lot from him.
To cut a long story short, he knew how She felt. He treats Her very well, but the thing is, he doesn’t feel for Her like how She did. He’s not into Her. He told Her about it but She wasn’t able to accept that fact. She still harboured hopes that one day he’ll come to his senses and they’ll live happily ever after. There was one day, he was in a meeting room and She was just sitting outside the room, She thought to Herself, “I’m going to marry that man.” LOL.
As it turns out, nothing of that sort happened. When She first fell for him, he just got out from a relationship. The then ex-gf confronted Her bcos She was spending lotsa time with him. Later on, he started another relationship with one of Her closest friend in the office and that girl knew how She felt for Collin.
Their relationship didn’t last long. After a few months, the girl called it off. Part of the ‘reason’ was because she felt that Collin was leading Her on, as in still giving Her hopes. And the other reason was because she met someone else. Collin then went into a depression after that and She was his shoulder to cry on. She was there for him. Her heart pained to see him in such a state. Really, She felt Collin’s pain, if not, more than what Collin was feeling. It was like if Collin took a step back, She took two - pain doubled.
Still, they were friends. She accompanied him whenever She could and STILL was harbouring feelings for him.
Then he left the company.
And he started another relationship with another girl, Laura. He’s the kinda guy who’d tell the gf everything about his past. So, “Her Story” was told to Laura. And Collin was ‘forbidden’ to speak to Her or have any contact with Her. At that time, She was really angry with him because He sanggup throw away their friendship because of that.
So, in the next 4-5 years, they spoke only a few times on the phone and most of the time, He’s the one who called Her. She knows that he still cares for Her as a friend but She was very sore about what had happened. She still spoke to him but She wasn’t being Herself when She did that.
5 years later, sometime last year, one day, he called Her and told Her that he and Laura have broken off. She thought, “Damn, not again?!” Yup, he was in one of his depression moods again. She didn’t go see him immediately because She was STILL sore about the past!
After a few attempts of trying to get Her out for dinner, one night, they agreed to meet at Sunway Pyramid. After so many years, this is their first time meeting one-to-one. The meeting was okay.
After that, they begin to meet up more often and sometimes together with other friends. It has been more than 6 months since then. She’s glad that he’s back in Her life, as a good friend. He still makes Her laugh 
A couple of months back, he found himself another gf 
She’s happy for him and Sharon. This time, it’s different She supposed. She went out with them a few times, got to know Sharon better and She thinks this time he didn’t tell the gf that much about Her. If not, surely hell will break loose, again. She might ask him if She’s got the chance. Maybe this weekend She’ll ask him out because today he told Her that Sharon needs to study for exams and asked Her if She wanna do anything this weekend.
She knows She and Collin will not be an item, not now, not ever. The feeling She had years ago is somehow not there anymore. She just wanna enjoy the friendship with him because She thinks that he understands Her very well too. But then again, She hasn’t told him about Evie, or Chris, or Him 
Maybe some things are meant to be known only by Her, and of course, Him.
But maybe someday She’ll let Collin read about this…just maybe…
